Medical Representatives Certification Commission (MRCC) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that creates standards, tests and certifies the professional competency and ethical standards of medical representatives. Medical representatives provide education and information to clinicians about the products manufactured by the biopharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic industries. MRCC is governed by a volunteer board of commissioners comprised of national healthcare leaders.
By setting the standard for professional and ethical competency for medical sales representatives, MRCC seeks to protect the public and improve patient outcomes. Those who achieve certification will have demonstrated mastery of core knowledge and commitment to ethics that will help them become a more valued partner in the delivery of care to patients.
